The food was hot, the eggs were great, the hash was not what I expected, good but chunky, not ground, like I expected.

I always enjoy this place.

Pretty decent locals bar. The Bloody Mary's are simple, but good. Check out the brunch menu online.

If you wanna feel like an extra on the set of Cheers, this is your place. Food was great too.

Always a blast and great food!

We came inside and were Ignored. We walked around looking for a dining room and each used a restroom. Still waited while TWO bartenders talked to each other. Lousy for somebody who advertises excellent service and food. Very disappointing.June 4th, The reply from the owner is a PLOY to make You think all is Great. I responded as he requested, below, BUT HAVE HEARD NOTHING SINCE. Not sincere AT ALL

The Puppy is a Colchester town favorite. They have great food, the bartenders are always hustling to make sure patrons are taken care of and the entertainment never disappoints. Sunday brunch is delicious and the servers are friendly and attentive.

We had a great meal. French dip was fabulous. Service was very friendly, and quality/ quantity of food was spot on. Prices were on point as well. They say "you get what you pay for", this place breaks that rule in favor of the customer. Absolutely recommend going here.

Under new ownership and the crowd speaks for itself. The food they are putting out genuinely are innovative. It's a must see if in the area.

The Spanked Puppy scores a 6 out of 10. They have a good foundation to build on. That means with a little extra effort they could be an 8 out of 10.Attending to small details could put them over the top. Waffles or pancakes should be warm enough to melt butter when they are served. The catsup bottles were sticky to touch. I touched 2 of them. When I opened them they both had a black ring around the neck from dead catsup. I no longer had the desire to put catsup on my home fries.I genuinely hope they make the extra effort. It will increase customer satisfaction and ensure customers will return for years to come. Don't count them out. They can do this and do it well.

Local pub with lots of local flavor. Friendly atmosphere and a great place to warm up and get some comfort food.Food quality and service are consistently very good. My favorite is the prime rib french dip with au jus. Fries are hand cut and delicious. The poutine is solid with tasty gravy.Prices are reasonable and service is efficient.

Service can be slow, but atmosphere is awesome! The trivia is fun. They have great wings and overall great home cooked food! Nice outside eating and social area

Amazing! The owners are amazing and super friendly. I had a great time with my friends the food was delicious and the drinks were phenomenal! Oh and the prices are reasonable. The back deck is where its at though just saying.

This is a small local restaurant with beer, and a free at menu.The food is well priced, and portions plentiful. First time here, and will return. A great outdoor area, with horseshoes, corn hole, fire pit and great atmosphere. We were not disappointed, and will return.

Came for here for breakfast, great outdoor patio space to eat outside on. Very island feel, good food, staff was excellent. Definitely putting this on our regular list of restaurants.

This pub has really good food and is very friendly. It's very relaxed here. It's a popular local spot (because it's good), but the owners make everyone feel welcome. Had wings (they were crispy and good--the sassy kind have just the right about of heat), beer battered moz sticks that were wonderful, a really nice Philly cheese steak, and an outstanding cheeseburger club sandwich (I haven't had one of these since living in the upstate NY area--this was a real treat). We'll be back for sure.

Went to a memorial held in the back patio. Many people and very crowded. Popular guy. The buffet was very good. I will go back.

There brunch is the best on sundays home made prime rib hash

BEST prime rib I've EVER had!!!No kidding! Who would've thought! Seriously; most tender end cut prime rib ever!Friday night menu has prime rib! Every bit was tender. I prefer end cut when available and complimented first our waitress about the meal and then the owner came over.Compliments are earned and as a small restaurant attached to a bar, everyone should know they do roast beef very well!!The live band just started (6pm). Great musicians and songs. Mix of country; jazz and (not hard) rock. Awesome.

Awesome service and one of the best places for brunch on a Saturday or Sunday morning in the area. They are happy to serve large groups and write up separate checks provided that you call ahead for reservations.

Excellent brunch, great service, and super affordable. Edited to respond to owner's question: I honestly don't remember the name of my server, but it was a woman with curly hair. Both she and the lady tending bar checked in on me and everyone was super nice. I was there around 10:30 on Saturday, and sat at one of the tall tables across from the bar by the windows looking out at the Nursery/Garden Center across the street.

Good food, fun music, and great barkeeps out back. Fun summer spot for sure!
